Our
Philosophy |
| |
Our principal aim is to develop a love of stories and
reading in young children. We also want to assist busy
parents in ensuring that bedtime is enjoyable, special
and relaxed. Our stories aim to define important educational
and life messages in a fun, simple to understand way.
|
| |
The setting of dreams aims to provide children with an
element of protection and comfort. Although they will
appreciate the experiences and learn from the characters,
children realise that the events portrayed in The Adventures
of Dreamieland are dreams and thus imaginary rather than
real.
|
| |
The key messages that our stories aim to convey
are:
| • |
Good triumphs over evil, right over wrong. |
| • |
The promotion of friendship, caring, sharing,
awareness of others. |
| • |
Most fears are imaginary and easy to overcome. |
| • |
Sleep and routine is important; dreams are
fun and exciting |
| • |
The promotion of self-confidence. |
