The
Story
|
| "Up in the sky, high above the world, there
is a place called Dreamieland. It is here, in this magical
place, where all dreams are made. |
Nimbus, the Dream Keeper
has lived in his Dream Keeper’s palace since the very
beginning of time. He looks after a large and special tribe
of Dreamies. Life is wonderful for little Dreamies. At Dreamie
school they learn about making dreams, going on dreams,
and caring for dreams. School is fun and the Dreamies meander
through childhood playing, learning, dreaming, eating and
most importantly, sleeping.
A Dreamies purpose in life is to look after sleeping children,
taking them on happy Dream Adventures. |
| When a Dreamie is about
one hundred years old, Nimbus gives the Dreamie his very
own Dream Hopper. The Dream Hopper flies the Dreamie through
the night sky down to Earth where they collect a sleeping
child. That child is taken on happy Dream Adventures to
magical Lands.
Much to Nimbus, The Dream Keepers frustration, Dreamieland
is under constant threat. Behind every black cloud there
is a Dream Guzzler. Controlled by Gazella, Queen of the
Guzzlers, the Dream Guzzlers try to get to children before
the Dreamies. They rarely succeed, but when they do they
create havoc.
|
There are very many Dreamies, all unique and
caring and gentle. However our stories are about two Dreamies
in particular - a cuddly yellow Dreamie called Fluffaduffle
and a cute pink Dreamie called Pinkapop. There are two cheeky
Guzzlers who are a particular nuisance to our Dreamies and
they are called Ratto and Jabalot. And so the adventures begin…..”
